I don't think that Air Jordans will ever loose their flare. Since 1985, Nike has come out with over 20 generations of the original Air Jordan I (shown above). They have dominated the basketball shoe market since making this first edition of these kicks. This specific release was released in 2001, completely selling out.
Check out how far the Jumpman's shoe line has come. Everything has evolved from the actual style to the way it fits your foot. Shown on the right is the AJF20 in Black.
